Life-On-Life Discipleship

XL 4 Christ Ministries is purposed to bring God’s Word to life in the lives of young struggling people through an in-residence life-on-life discipleship training program whereby we will train them to abide in Christ to develop spiritual and practical maturity by demonstrating godly morals and values, personal responsibility, and self control in all facets of life. We provide the environment where young people, having come to the end of themselves, can begin anew through an intensive program designed to transform the thoughts and intents of the heart, to develop godly wisdom and character, and to help them become strong productive members of the kingdom of God living victoriously in all facets of life overcoming obstacles, resisting the temptations of the enemy, and demonstrating the love of God in all their relations and activities.

We don’t just tell them, but under our commitment and through substantial personal investment we show them and teach them:

Morals & Values – Learning to know and love God through personal discipleship
“If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:31-32

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.” John 10:27-28

Changing your heart and renewing your mind through God’s Word –man-walking

  • Intensive Daily Bible Studies

  • Living out the Word through personal application

Personal Responsibility – Learning to walk with God through personal training in life skills
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you. Be not like a horse or a mule, without understanding, which must be curbed with bit and bridle, or it will not stay near you. Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but steadfast love surrounds the one who trusts in the LORD.” Psalm 32:8-10

“For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 2Peter 1:5-8
